Mexico City preserves the countless reminders of its past. Its monument pre-Columbian art and architecture make the city more attractive for its people and the tourists too. It was founded in 1521. 1.  The National Museum of Anthropology

It was built in 1964 and was considered a successful example of contemporary architecture. It is also famous for its magnificent displays. Moreover, it displays the old Indian arts Treasures too. However, the National Museum of Anthropology was founded by Lucas Slamannan in 1831. Moreover, the building itself has its vast collection.

2.  The palace of Fine Arts

It was considered Mexico City's most important landmark. This palace of Fine Arts was also a cultural and architectural gem for the beautiful city of Mexico. However, it was designed by an Italian architect named AdamaBaori. He completed this beautiful building in 1934. This palace also consists of a Concert Hall which hosts a variety of International and traditional performances.

3.  The National Palace

It was situated on the east side of Mexico City. The National Palace however includes notable features like the freedom Bell. Moreover, it rang on the anniversary of this event each year on 15th September. The bell 1st rung on 15 September 1810 at the start of the Independence war. It was also a beautiful place that shows the constitution of Mexico.

4.  Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral

It is one of the oldest and largest churches in the whole western hemisphere. Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral however began in 1525. It was situated over 250 years ago and also is impressive and has twisted columns. The heartbeat of Mexico city is the other name of the cathedral. 5.  Chapultepec Park

Mexico City's Principal Park is Chapultepec Park. It covers an area of 4 square kilometers and it is also the largest Park in park city. According to the Scholars it was laid out in the early 15th century. Nowadays the park is famous for its lake garden museum and facilities provided for sports.

6.  National History Museum

It was not world-classless world-class Mexico city. The Museum however opened in 1944. It was an impressive collection of old manuscripts and also pre-Colombian material. It also includes the arms, armor, documents, maps, and plans of the conquest period. From the castle, one can also see the beautiful views of the city.

7.  Alameda Central

Alameda Central was also one of the beautiful Parks of Mexico city. The mountains by sculptures surrounded it. Alameda Central was a beautiful Park. On the occasion of Christmas, the park got decorated every year.

8.  The house of Tiles

The house of Tiles was built in 1596. About 150 years ago, the completion of decoration took place. The house of Tiles became more famous and interesting when Jose Clemente Orozco decorated it. The house of tiles is now a restaurant. It was one of the very large works of art.

9.  Museo Soumaya

This was the most beautiful place in Mexico. The city of Mexico was incomplete without it. Carlos Slim was the founder of Museo Soumaya. He named it for his wife Soumaya. It consists of 66000 features of art. This makes it more interesting and there were many things inside the museum which you have never seen.

10.  The Square of The Three Cultures and Santiago de Tlatelolco

It was important of the three cultures. This takes its name from the three different periods. It includes pyramids, staircases, walls, and "tzompantli"( the walls of skulls). The plaza got completion in the early 17th century.
