Blue Air Overview 

Blue Air was founded in 2004 and it is a low-cost Romanian Airline. Moreover, the airline has an extensive network of both long-haul and short-haul flights. In addition to this, Blue Air is the largest airline in Romania by the number of scheduled passengers transported. Furthermore, the airline’s fleet consists of aircrafts that belong to the Boeing family. The airline also has codeshare agreements with Alitalia, Sky Express, Air Italy and Cyprus Airways.

Blue Air has its hub airport as Bucharest’s Henri Coandă Airport (OTP). Moreover, the airline has an extensive network of both long-haul and short-haul flights. Furthermore, these destinations are spread out in Europe, there are over 50 destinations across 17 countries that Blue Air flies to. In addition to this, some of the destinations that the airline operates flights to include Paris, Larnaca, Prague, Berlin, Salzburg, Copenhagen, Lyon, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Rhodes, Budapest, Corfu, Milan, Rome and many more. 

 

Blue Air Travel Class 

Blue Air is a low-cost airline and therefore, only offers Economy Class on-board. 

Economy Class

Economy Class is the most basic cabin available. It gives passengers an affordable value and comes with comfortable service. In addition, the flight crew is highly trained and very friendly. Moreover, the passengers can purchase either of the three economy fares available: BlueBASIC, BluePLUS and BlueBIZ.

Blue Basic

This fare gives passengers amazing affordability, it includes cabin baggage but not checked baggage. Moreover, on some routes passengers can purchase snacks, drinks, etc. on board. Furthermore, the seats are very comfortable and designed for relaxation. 

Blue Plus

This fare option has a few added benefits. For instance this fare includes both cabin and checked baggage. In addition to this, it includes 1 free change of booking. Moreover, passengers can purchase snacks, drinks, etc. on board. Furthermore, the seats are very comfortable and designed for relaxation. Lastly, passengers can also reserve the seat they prefer. 

Blue Bizz

This fare option gives passengers full flexibility when it comes to making changes to the ticket. Passengers can also pre-book the seat according to their preference. In addition to this, the fare gives passengers additional baggage allowance. Moreover, They can enjoy food and snacks on board for a small charge. Furthermore, the seats have generous width and pitch. They are designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. 

 

In-Flight Entertainment 

Blue Air does not offer in-flight entertainment to passengers on-board. However, the airline provides the passengers magazine on board so that passengers can browse through it and stay entertained. Moreover, the magazine contains amazing lifestyle and travel articles that will surely entertain the passenger. Furthermore, passengers can also download entertainment on their devices before the flight and enjoy watching it throughout the flight.

Blue Air does not offer complimentary food and drinks to passengers due to being a low-cost airline. For instance, the menu consists of salads, smoked trout pasta, raw vegan truffles, caramelised peanuts, cookies, Romanian wines, soft drinks, etc. Therefore, passengers can relax and savour the gourmet food while flying.

My Blue Air is the frequent flyer program of Blue Air, its main purpose is to reward loyal passengers. Moreover, the program permits passengers to earn points  when they fly with the airline. In addition to this, members of the frequent flying program can redeem miles for various benefits and upgrades.
