Baggage Policy

The Vietnam Airlines baggage policy may vary depending on the route, class of service, and fare type. Therefore, passengers should always check the terms and conditions of their tickets before packing for their trip. Additionally, passengers should contact customer service for more information on the Vietnam Airlines baggage policy and any applicable fees or restrictions.

Carry-on/Cabin Baggage Policy

1. The total weight of your hand luggage must be more than:
   For Economy class, the allowance is 12kg/26lb, which includes one piece of carry-on luggage up to 10kg/22lb and one accessory; for Premium Economy/Business class, it is 18kg/40lb, which includes two pieces of carry-on luggage, each of which may weigh up to 10kg/22lb.
2. The following should apply to the luggage's maximum size and its three dimensions (length, breadth, and height):
   For one piece of carry-on luggage, the dimensions are 115cm (56cm x 36cm x 23cm); for one accessory, they are 40cm x 30cm x 15cm.
3. In addition to the carry-on baggage requirements mentioned above, travelers can bring some personal goods with them. Please see this page for details about unique things.
4. Children under two should only be allowed to check one foldable stroller or cradle that fits in the overhead bins and carry-on luggage that weighs no more than 3 kg (including food, milk, and diapers). Strollers and cradles are transported as checked luggage if the overhead bins are not in position. (free of charge).

NOTE: Bulkhead seats lack under-seat storage, so all carry-on and cabin luggage must be stored in the overhead compartment during takeoff and landing.
