Online check-in

Passengers can avail this service for free by going to the official website of Ural Airlines or downloading the Ural Airlines app. This is a very convenient option and will save time as passengers won’t have to stand in long queues. Moreover, passengers can check-in via phone, tablet or computer. They can check-in by simply putting in their details. In addition, passengers can print out their boarding pass or download a digital print on their phone. Furthermore, passengers who fail to check-in on time will not be allowed on-board. Lastly, online check-in opens 48 hours before the flight and closes 40 minutes before the flight, except in Rome, Tel Aviv, Beijing, Harbin, Amsterdam, London where online check-in ends 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure of the flight.

Following passengers cannot check-in online and need to check-in at the airport:

• Minor passengers traveling unaccompanied by an adult (capable) passenger;
• Severely ill passengers;
• Patients on stretchers;
• Passengers with reduced mobility;
• Hearing and / or sight impaired passengers, unaccompanied;
• Visually impaired passengers with a guide dog;
• carrying pets or birds;
• Passengers carrying baggage in the aircraft cabin;
• who have paid for an additional seat in the aircraft cabin;
• carrying weapons and / or ammunition;
• Deported passengers, regardless of escort;
• Passengers requiring medical assistance during the flight;
• those who have unpaid services in their order.

 

Airport check-in 

Passengers can check-in by visiting the check-in counter of Ural Airlines at the airport. To avail it, passengers just need to provide their confirmation reference and necessary travel documents like identity cards and passports. Passengers should arrive early so that they have enough time to complete all the formalities like baggage drop, check-in, airport security check, boarding, etc. Moreover, the check-in counters usually open 3 hour before departure of international flights and 1 hour 30 minutes before domestic flights. In addition to this, check-in counters close 40 minutes before the flight, except in Rome, Tel Aviv, Beijing, Harbin, Amsterdam, London where online check-in ends 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. However, passengers should still consult the departure airport website for the details before the flight as check-in timings also depend on the airport. Furthermore, passengers who fail to check-in on time will not be allowed to board the flight.
