Carry-on Baggage

If you fly on a Boeing or Airbus aircraft, you can bring one handbag with you in the cabin that is no larger than 55x 40x 20cm (length, breadth, and height).

The luggage you bring on an ATR 42 or ATR 72 should not be larger than the following measurements: 35 x 30 x 20 cm (length x breadth x height).

You can bring one free personal item, such as a purse or briefcase. Total weight, including cabin baggage and personal items, cannot exceed 8 kg. As a TAROM passenger, you can bring one handbag in the cabin that is no larger than 55x 40x 20cm (length, breadth, and height).

Checked Baggage

The airline permits passengers to carry checked Baggage depending on their travel class. Please refer to the table below for specific details:

The number of accepted pieces is limited depending on the aircraft type operating the flight:

1. ATR42/ATR72 - maximum three pieces/passenger;
2. B737/Airbus - maximum ten pieces/passenger.

Excess Baggage

Baggage needs to meet the set size and weight dimensions; if it exceeds, the passenger is charged an excess baggage fee. Moreover, refer to the table below for further details:(passenger information/baggage/extra)

Sports Equipment

TAROM permits passengers to take their sports equipment on their next big adventure. Passengers can carry the following items on board-

1. Ski
2. Fishing
3. Wind Board/ Kiteboard/ Bodyboard
4. Surf equipment
5. Golf equipment –appropriately packed in a pouch
6. Scuba tank – scuba diving equipment
7. Windsurfing equipment
8. Kayaks,
9. Bicycles – pedals and wheels removed, handlebars turned parallel, tyres deflated
