Passengers can avail this service by going to the official website of Jetstar. Moreover, passengers can check-in via phone, tablet or computer. In addition, passengers just need to provide personal details to get started. Furthermore, they can print out their boarding pass or keep it to be printed later. In addition to this, online check-in for international flights opens 2 days before the flight and closes 2 hour before the departure of the flight. On the other hand, domestic flight passengers can check in online 48 hours – 35 minutes before the departure of the flight. Lastly, passengers may not be able to check-in online in some cases. - travelling with an infant – except if you’re travelling with an infant on your lap on Jetstar Airways (JQ) domestic flights within Australia and New Zealand
- Flight to or from the US
- Made the booking through Jetstar Group bookings
- travelling with a service dog or require an extra seat
- Have hearing or vision impaired
Passengers can check-in by visiting the check-in counter of Jetstar at the airport. To avail it, passengers just need to provide their confirmation reference and necessary travel documents like identity cards and passports. Passengers should arrive early so that they have enough time to complete all the formalities like baggage drop, check-in, airport security check, boarding, etc. Moreover, the airport check-in for international flights starts 2-3 hours before the flight and the counter closes 60 hour – 45 minutes before the flight. On the other hand, domestic flight passengers can check in online 2-3 hours before the flight. The check-in closes 60 – 30 minutes before the departure of the flight. Furthermore, the boarding gate closes 15 minutes before the departure of the flight. Lastly, passengers who need assistance need to check-in even earlier.
