Cancellation Policy
The airline permits passengers to cancel a booking. However, this depends on ticket fare. For instance Starter, Starter plus and Business fare can not cancel their booking. Moreover, the airline permits Starter Max and Starter flex to cancel their ticket. In addition, the airline provides passengers with a credit voucher upon cancellation of booking. Furthermore, Jetstar also permits passengers with Business Max fare to cancel their ticket. However, a cancellation fee is applicable.
Upon cancellation of the flight by Jetstar, the airline will inform the passengers. Moreover, the airline will also the passenger on the next available flight at no additional cost. In such a case if passengers are not comfortable with change in flight, re-route, etc. then the passengers can apply for a refund of the applicable fare. However, if the cancellation of flight is due to circumstances beyond control like bad weather, strikes, security risks etc. then the passenger is not entitled to a compensation or refund.
Refund Policy
Passengers can get a refund of a ticket that they possess. In addition to this, the amount refunded to the passenger will depend on the conditions attached to the ticket fare. The amount will depend on the flight type, please refer below for details:
