Carry-on baggage
GOL Airlines permits passengers to carry one piece of carry-on baggage for free. The baggage can weigh a maximum of 10kg. Moreover, the baggage can be of maximum 35 x 25 x 55cm dimensions. In addition to this, passengers can also bring a personal item like a purse or laptop bag, etc.
Checked baggage
GOL Airlines permits passengers to carry check-in baggage according to their ticket fare. But essentially one baggage can be of maximum 23kg with 50 x 28 x 80cm dimensions. Passengers with a PROMO or LIGHT fare ticket do not have any free checked baggage allowance. Furthermore, passengers with a PLUS fare ticket have one item of free checked baggage allowance. Lastly, passengers with a MAX and PREMIUM ECONOMY fare ticket have two items of free checked in baggage.

Excess Baggage
If the baggage weighs more than 23kg then the passenger can expect a penalty of USD 15 per extra kg. This is applicable for both international and domestic flights. In addition, baggage must not weigh more than 32kg on international flights and 45kg on domestic flights.
Prohibited Items
Following items are not allowed on board-
- Shock items
- Items that produce heat
- Incapacitating devices
- Safety equipment that include dangerous items (e.g. lithium batteries, pyrotechnic materials) as part of the equipment
- Explosives
- Biological material
- Oxidising agents and peroxide
- Flammable solids
- Radioactive materials
- Toxic and infectious material
