Domestic:	60 minutes before scheduled departure
International:	90 minutes before scheduled departure

Minimum required check-in time with baggage:

Domestic:	30 minutes before scheduled departure
International:	60 minutes before scheduled departure

Online check-in 

Passengers can avail this service by online or web check-in. Moreover, passengers can check-in via phone, tablet or computer. Passengers can check-in 72 hours prior to the departure of the flight and the online check-in service closes 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Furthermore, in Germany the online check-in mostly closes 40 minutes before the departure of the flight. after check-in is complete passengers can either print out their boarding pass or keep it in their mobile phones. Lastly, at the airport passengers can go directly for security check and boarding gates.

 

Airport check-in

Passengers can check-in by visiting the check-in counter of Eurowings at the airport. Moreover, this service is free for passengers of all fare types apart from BASIC fare. Passengers who purchased a BASIC fare can add airport check-in service if they require it. To avail it, passengers just need to provide necessary travel documents like identity cards and passports. Passengers should arrive early so that they have enough time to complete all the formalities like baggage drop, check-in, airport security check, boarding, etc. Moreover, the airport check-in usually opens 2 hours prior to the flight and it closes 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of the flight.

• Eurowings long haul flight passengers
• Passengers booked in Eurowings SMART fare, Dynamic Flex SMART fare, BEST fare, Dynamic Flex BEST fare, BIZclass fare fare, Dynamic Flex BIZclass fare or Fix Flex Nego fare
• Babies up to 2 years of age (infants) – with or without a seat
• Special categories of passengers (unaccompanied minors, medical and disabled passengers, deportees and inadmissible passengers)
• Passengers holding one of the following special services (service animal, emotional support animal) or transporting one of the following (pet in cabin, weapons and ammunition)
• Selected Frequent Flyers (SEN, HON and FTL members)
• Passengers checking-in / collecting their boarding passes at Eurowings transfer desks
• Already checked-in (Web/Mobile/CUSS) passengers who are queuing for baggage drop off
• Passengers who are already checked-in (Web/Mobile/CUSS) and are queuing to get their boarding passes re-printed
