Cancellation Policy
The airline permits passengers to cancel a booking. Moreover, the airline has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Therefore, passengers can cancel and get a full refund of the ticket minus the cancellation fee within 24 hours from purchase. However, the airline does not refund the ticket if the passenger cancels the booking after 24 hours. Furthermore, passengers have the option of changing their flight instead.
Upon cancellation of the flight by EasyJet, the airline will inform the passengers. Moreover, the airline will try to get the passenger to the intended destination for free or give a full refund, according to the passengers preference.
Refund Policy
Passengers can get a refund of a ticket that they possess. Moreover, if the passenger requests for a refund after 24 hours of booking it then no refund is provided. In addition to this, on cancellation done within 24 hours of booking, the cancellation fee may be applicable. For instance, the cancellation fee is £49 if the cancellation is done online and £55 if the cancellation is done through the customer service team. In addition to this, in case the passenger is unable to travel due to death in the family or serious injury/sickness, the airline provides a fee waiver or flight voucher to the passengers. Passengers can also get a refund of government taxes for flights they do not take due to missing the flight.
Furthermore, the airline will refund the ticket to the person who is named on the ticket or whoever paid for the ticket, provided that satisfactory proof of payment is given. In addition, the passenger of whoever pays for the ticket can authorise another person to collect the refund. Lastly, the airline reserves the right to make the refund in the same form as the payment and the same currency in which it was purchased.
