Atlantic Airways Baggage Policy

If flying with Atlantic Airways, you should know the airline's luggage rules to avoid any last-minute surprises or unexpected costs. This post will go through the Atlantic Airways baggage Policy in depth, including the allowable luggage size and Weight, over-baggage prices, and more.

Hand/Cabin Baggage Policy

Carry-on luggage: 1 piece 1 PC bag, maximum 8 kg, and maximum size 50x40x25 cm.

Hand luggage must be accepted before boarding and will be identified with a "Cabin Baggage" tag. Passengers are urged to ensure the carry-on luggage is within the accepted limits before check-in.

NOTE:  Bulkhead seats do not have under-seat storage. Therefore, all carry-on baggage must be stowed in the overhead bin during take-off and landing.

Checked Baggage

Passengers traveling in Economy on Transatlantic, Caribbean, and Nigerian routes
are allowed one bag as long as each bag meets the following requirements:

1. Maximum Dimensions: 90 cm x 75 cm x 43 cm / 35.5 in x 29.5 in x 16 in
2. Maximum Weight: 51 lbs (23 kg)

Passengers traveling in Premium Economy on Transatlantic, Caribbean, and Nigerian routes are allowed two bags as long as each bag meets the following requirements:

1. Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height)
2. Maximum Weight: 50 lbs (23 kg)

Passengers traveling in Upper Class on Transatlantic, Caribbean, and Nigerian routes are allowed three bags as long as each bag meets the following requirements:

1. Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height)
2. Maximum Weight: 70 lb/32 kg

Passengers traveling on South African, Australian, Asian, and Dubai routes must adhere to the following weight requirements by class of service:

1. Maximum Weight for Economy and Premium Economy passengers: 44 lbs (20 kg)
2. Maximum Weight for Upper-Class passengers: 66 lbs (30 kg)
