Baggage allowance

Carry-on baggage

Andes Líneas Aéreas permits passengers to carry one piece of baggage. In addition, he baggage can weigh a maximum of 5kg for charter flights and 5kg for scheduled flights. Furthermore, the baggage can be of maximum 40 x 50 x 25cm dimension. The airline also permits passengers to take a personal item without charge. The personal item, for instance, can be a laptop bag or handbag, etc. The baggage can also weigh only a maximum of 3kg for charter flights and 5kg for scheduled flights. Furthermore, the baggage can be of maximum 35 x 40 x 25cm dimension.

 

Checked baggage

Andes Líneas Aéreas permits passengers to carry one piece of checked-in baggage. The baggage can weigh a maximum of 30kg. Furthermore, the overall dimensions of the baggage need to comply with 1m x 1m. Passengers travelling together and arriving at the airport together may also pool their baggage allowance.
Checked-in baggage must not exceed 32kg weight, this is as per international regulations.

 

Special equipment

Andes Líneas Aéreas allows passengers to carry their sports equipment with them on their next adventure. Take all you require with you. Sports equipment and musical instruments, or items with dimensions that exceed the allowance in carry-on or hold allowance. Items of this sort get special service and are subject to particular rules as per their qualities. It is important that the passenger packs it appropriately so that the airline can acknowledge them as baggage. Furthermore, the expense of carrying these items is dependent upon the class fare. Andes Líneas Aéreas provides an allowance of 30kg weight for these equipment. Passengers can also travel with a wheelchair, sporting equipment.

Musical instrument

Passengers can bring musical instruments in the cabin, as long as they do not exceed the allowance. In the event that they do not comply with the established measures, they must be transported in the hold of the aircraft.

To carry musical instruments in the cabin, it must meet the following conditions: Passengers must make a prior reservation of an additional seat, with the same fare and class as your ticket, without the right to another checked baggage allowance. (The airline permits 75 kg allowance, whereas, 45kg weight is allowed in the cabin)
