Aer Lingus Cancellation Policy

Information about changing or canceling your reservation or making any other adjustments to your reservation.

Canceling Your Booking:

If you make your ticket on the airline's website:

You must complete the refund request form if you made your ticket using the airline's website and want to cancel it. When you request a refund, the airline will process your request and send the money to the original payment method you specified, such as a debit card, credit card, travel voucher, or Avios account. The airline will contact you to let you know when your refund has been processed and will arrive in 7 days.

According to Aer Lingus' 24-hour cancellation policy, you can cancel an outbound or inbound trip to or from the United States and receive a refund; however, you must make your reservation at least seven days before the scheduled departure time.

You can only alter or cancel your flight up to 2 (two) hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight; after that time, you are no longer eligible for a flight refund. The carrier will keep your money in reserve. Before the validity expires, all of the claim papers must be submitted.

If the flight is canceled, you are entitled to a refund of the applicable government taxes. However, you must file your request within one month of the scheduled departure date. The airline will transfer your flight cancellation compensation to your initial payment methods, such as a debit card, credit card, travel voucher, or Avios account. The airline will contact you to let you know when your refund has been processed and will arrive in 7 days.

Online:

You can cancel your Aer Lingus flight online by using Manage Booking on the Aer Lingus website. Enter your booking reference and last name, then follow the prompts to cancel your flight.

Over the phone:

You can also cancel your Aer Lingus flight by calling the Aer Lingus customer service team. Make sure to have your booking reference and other details on hand when you call.

Through a travel agent:

If you booked your Aer Lingus flight through a travel agent, you'll need to contact them directly to cancel your flight.

Cancellation due to Weather

In the event of severe weather conditions, Aer Lingus may cancel flights to ensure passenger safety. If your flight has been canceled due to weather, Aer Lingus will generally offer you the following options:

1. Rebook your flight: Aer Lingus may offer to rebook your flight for a later date or time, subject to availability.
2. Refund: If you're unable to rebook your flight, you may be entitled to a refund.
3. Accommodation and meals: If you're stranded at the airport due to weather-related cancellations, Aer Lingus may offer you accommodation and meals.

Aer Lingus Refund Policy

Following your reservation's cancellation, the carrier reimburses you for the amount. However, the refund will be provided by your flight and fare type (after deducting charges):

1. Refund by ticket type: European domestic flights

3. Administration, seat, baggage, and meal costs are also non-refundable.

3. Flex Rates

1. If you cancel at least two hours before the flight's departure, you are qualified for a full refund.
2. If you change your reservation and cancel it, and your initial booking is non-refundable, you will only receive a refund for the difference in fares.

4. Corporate Rates

1. You are only qualified to receive a refund if you cancel your flight before the scheduled departure time of the flight and after a 15% deduction for government taxes.
2. If you change your reservation and cancel it, and your initial booking is non-refundable, you will only receive a refund for the difference in fares.
3. Additionally, administrative, seat, baggage, and food fees are not refundable.

Steps for Aer Lingus flight Cancellation:

Step 1:- Visit the official website of “Aer Lingus” (Aer Lingus official website)

Step 2: You are now on the airline's home website, where the "Manage Trip" option can be found. Touch it.

Step 3: After selecting that choice, you will be taken to a website with a blank form. Your information should be entered into that form under "Booking Reference" and "Family Name," which is also your last name.(surname). To examine your past and upcoming trips, you can "Log In" as well.

Step 4: Please press "Manage Trip" after entering your information.

Step 5: At this point, follow the instructions to cancel your ticket.
