Cabin Baggage Allowance for infants & children

Infants

Infants (age 0 to 2 years) are allowed one (1) personal item or a carry-on bag with a maximum size of 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm and a maximum weight of 6 kg.

A carrycot, collapsible stroller, or infant car seat with a base no larger than 40 cm by 40 cm is needed if the baby is going to have a seat of their own. The parents must bring this on board the aircraft, and there is no additional cost. It must be disclosed when booking through your travel agent or the AEGEAN Call Centre.

Children

Children are permitted the same amount of cabin baggage as adults in size and weight, depending on their ticket class (Economy Light, Flex, ComfortFlex, or Business Class).

There is no extra cost if the youngster requires a specific car seat (maximum base dimensions 40cmX40cm) to ride in their seat.

Checked Baggage

Depending on your flight, the fare (Light, Flex, ComfortFlex & Business), the Class (Economy or Business) you are flying, the number of bags, the charges, and the permitted dimensions may change. Therefore, we suggest you verify the exact luggage information before each trip, either on the AEGEAN website or on your reservation.

Overweight Baggage 

Overweight baggage is considered checked baggage weighing over 23kg and up to 32kg. Baggage weighing over 32kg can only be accepted as cargo.

The fees in the table below are charged for oversize and additional luggage. In addition, you will be charged extra if you want to bring along a different piece of luggage that is also overweight.
