Check-in Policy

There are specific check-in counters for travelers at Xiamen Airlines. Please see the airport's official website or call our customer care at 95557 for further details regarding the counters and check-in times. To give yourself enough time to go through security checks, please go to the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight departs. Offers several ways to check in for your flight, including:

Online check-in:

Passengers can check-in for their flights through XiamenAir's website by entering their booking reference and last name. Online check-in is available 24 hours up to 90 minutes before departure time.

Mobile check-in:

Passengers can also check-in for their flights using XiamenAir's mobile app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Mobile check-in is available 24 hours up to 90 minutes before departure time.

Airport check-in:

Passengers can check-in for their flights at XiamenAir airport counters. Check-in counters open 3 hours before departure time and close 60 minutes before departure time for international flights and 45 minutes before departure time for domestic flights.

Self-service check-in kiosks:

XiamenAir has self-service check-in kiosks available at select airports. Passengers can use these kiosks to check-in for their flights and print their boarding passes.

Over the phone check-in:

Passengers can also check-in for their flights by calling XiamenAir's customer service hotline. However, this option is only available for flights departing from certain airports.

The following travel paperwork must be organized before arriving at the XiamenAir Airport:

1. A valid passport or government-issued identification
2. E-ticket number
3. The name and details of your XiamenAir flight

Online web check-in to get a Boarding Pass

1. Visit XiamenAir's website and click on the "Check-in" tab.
2. Enter your booking reference and last name to retrieve your booking details.
3. Select the passenger(s) for whom you want to check-in.
4. Choose your preferred seat(s) and enter any necessary information, such as passport details.
5. Confirm your check-in details and submit your request.
6. Once your check-in is complete, you can download and print your boarding pass.

Airport check-in to get a Boarding Pass

1. Arrive at the airport and proceed to XiamenAir's check-in counter.
2. Present your passport and booking details to the check-in agent.
3. The check-in agent will process your check-in and provide you with your boarding pass.
4. If you have baggage to check-in, the check-in agent will weigh and tag your baggage.
5. Proceed to security and immigration checks with your boarding pass and travel documents.

Kiosk check-in to get a Boarding Pass

1. Locate a XiamenAir self-service check-in kiosk at the airport.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your booking reference and last name.
3. Select the passenger(s) for whom you want to check-in.
4. Choose your preferred seat(s) and enter any necessary information, such as passport details.
5. Confirm your check-in details and print your boarding pass at the kiosk.
6. If you have baggage to check-in, proceed to XiamenAir's baggage drop counter with your boarding pass and travel documents.

Boarding Pass

If customers do not appear at the check-in desk or boarding gate by the deadline, do not present valid travel papers, tickets, or boarding passes, or do not prepare for the trip, Xiamen Airlines reserves the right to cancel the seat reservation to prevent flight delays.
