Carry-On Baggage

XiamenAir allows passengers to bring one piece of carry-on baggage and one personal item on board their flights. The carry-on baggage must not exceed 55cm x 40cm x 20cm in size and 5kg in weight, while the personal item must be able to fit under the seat in front of the passenger. Examples of personal items include a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack.

Passengers in Business Class and First Class are allowed to bring two pieces of carry-on baggage and one personal item, with a combined weight limit of 10kg. In addition, passengers traveling with infants are allowed to bring an additional carry-on item, such as a diaper bag.

Checked Baggage

Checked baggage must adhere to the following requirements: be securely fastened, correctly locked, able to withstand a certain amount of pressure, and handled and carried safely under standard operating conditions.

1. Locks must be used on all bags, including handbags;

2. Multiple pieces cannot be combined into a single piece;

3. Nothing else may be fastened to the luggage.

4. It is prohibited to use plastic bags, bamboo baskets, net bags, straw ropes, straw bags, or straw bags as outer packaging for luggage.

You should be aware that Xiamen Airlines does not offer child safety seats. Therefore, passengers' child safety seats should be checked as luggage instead of brought inside the cabin.

Note: 

1. Baggage that exceeds the specifications above cannot be transported as checked baggage without Xiamen Airlines' prior approval;
2. The dimensions (including weight and size) of the luggage above are the maximum the airline will accept; they do not constitute a free baggage allowance. The cost of overage luggage is the responsibility of the passenger.
