Cancellation Policy

Vieques Air Link permits passengers to cancel their booking/ticket within 24 hours to get a full refund. This is provided that the booking was done seven days before the scheduled departure date of the flight. Moreover if the passenger changes their booking then they are not eligible to get a refund and or also subject to cancellation fee. This is applicable even if the cancellation was done within 24 hours of the original booking. Moreover if passengers cancel their flight 48 hours prior to their flight time then a 20% cancellation fee is applicable. In addition to this, if they apply for cancellation less than 48 hours before the flight and then a 50% cancellation fee is applicable. If the passengers can get the ticket 24 hours before the flight then the money for the tickets will be lost. Furthermore, if the amount is not refundable then the passengers can use the credit to travel in the future, this should be done within the next 12 months.

Passengers can also reissue tickets after cancellation, this will be done for $50 in addition to any difference in fare. Moreover, Any balance (credit) will be nullified after one year. And partially used ticket will also be nullifies within one year. If passengers fails to cancel their ticket and doesn’t show up, then the airline will label them as “no show” and also forfeit the fare. Moreover, this will also be applicable if passenger does not check in on time and is not present present for boarding. Lastly, if they still want to travel after this they will be required to pay a new fare altogether.

 

Refund Policy

Passengers can request a refund if fare class Y is purchased by the passenger. If the ticket purchased is non-refundable then it is non-refundable as well as not transferable. Lastly, the refund will be given to the passenger who is named on the ticket or the person who paid for the ticket.
