Sports Equipment

The airline permits passengers to carry sports items on their next big adventure. Moreover, the sports equipment can be 32kg and 250cm maximum. Although sports equipment is not a part of the free baggage allowance, a fee of 69.81 USD is applicable for transporting each piece of sports equipment. Lastly, passengers can carry the following items:

  1. Ski equipment (one pair of skis and poles or one snowboard with a couple of boots or one pair of water skis)
  2. Golf equipment (a bag with golf clubs, golf balls, and one pair of shoes)
  3. A bicycle (partially disassembled for transport with the handle bars in direct axis and the pedals removed)
  4. A surfboard or windsurfing set
  5. Fishing and diving equipment or a set of hockey sticks or other sports equipment
  6. Firearms and Ammunition to a maximum weight of 5kg per person for sport and hunting purposes: Please ensure ahead of time that you possess the required license for the possession and transport of firearms. Ammunition must be removed from the gun and packed separately. It is prohibited to transport Ammunition with explosive or flammable projectiles.

Dangerous items 

Passengers cannot bring the following items in the aircraft (checked or cabin baggage):

  1. Briefcases or satchels with alarms
  2. Explosives and fireworks, including pyrotechnics
  3. Flammables (matches, lighters, lubricants, alcohol except for 5 liters of alcoholic beverages with alcohol content from 25 to 70% in retail packaging per person)
  4. Compressed gas (flammable, non-flammable, and poisoning)
  5. Corrosives and corrosive items (acids, alkali, and peroxide)
  6. Toxic and irritant substances
  7. Radioactive material
  8. Magnetic materials
  9. Mercury
  10. Accumulators and batteries with liquid electrolyte
  11. Infectious agents
  12. Dry ice in the amount larger than 2.5kg
