Cancellation Policy

You can expect a full refund if you apply to cancel your flight within 24 hours of purchasing the ticket. Passengers can expect a cancellation fee of $150 if they cancel or change the ticket after 24 hours of purchasing it. This depends on the specific fare rule and market. 

The airline will attempt to contact the passenger in the case the cancellation is known about more than 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Passengers can expect meal allowances and hotel accommodations, as well as transportation (based on availability). 

Upon cancellation, passengers can expect a refund 7 days if the ticket is purchased via credit card. And it will take 21 days if the ticket is purchased through cash. 

Refund Policy

Full refunds will be provided if the ticket you purchased is refundable, and refund will not be made for any ticket purchased with a non-refundable fare. For this to happen, the passenger must submit appropriate documentation to the Refund Department along with a refund request. This request should be made no later than one month after the expiration date. For instance, 13 months from the date the ticket was purchased on. All refunds are subject to penalties. A minimum $25 administrative services change is applicable.

Refunds can be applied for in person at the Cayman Airways ticket office in Grand Cayman. 

Refund will be made only the the person named on the ticket unless:

Any portion of the ticket will not be refunded if the ticket purchased is with a non-refundable fare.

1. I booked my flight through an agency, how do I apply for a refund? +

If your ticket was issued by a travel agency please request the refund through the agency itself. 


2. How long till I get my refund? +

It will take 7-20 business days to process the refund, this depends on the form of payment. 


3. Can I get a refund if a portion of the non-refundable fare paid is unused and unexpired? +

Yes you can. But only if the non-refundable Cayman Airways ticket is to be applied towards the purchase of further travel on Cayman Airways. 


4. How do Request a refund? +
