Brussels Airlines, the largest airline of Belgium was founded on 7 November 2006 and commenced operations on 25 March 2007. Brussels Airlines acquired Brussels Airport.

Flying over 100 destinations with 52 aircrafts in their Fleet, Brussels is run by CEO and CCO Dieter Vranckx.

Brussels Airline is a merger of SN Brussels Airline and Virgina Express and it was formed because of the bankruptcy of  former Flag Carrier Sabena. Brussels Airline is completely owned by SiN Airholding SA/NV.

1. Is a two year old baby considered as an infant?

Yes, babies from one day to 2 years old are regarded as infants and from the age of three to eleven are regarded as children. 

2. Children of what age can fly alone and what are the services available?

Any child from the age of five to eleven travelling alone will be automatically considered for the unaccompanied minor service. Children from twelve to eighteen can also avail the service if required. 

3. Is there any special service if I'm flying with a baby?

The airline will ensure that your journey with your infant is safe and comfortable. You will be given all the necessary help required for the journey. 

4. When can I ask for special assistance and are there any fees?

You can inform about your special requirements 48 hours prior to your departure. Brussels Airlines does not charge any fees for such special assistance provided. 

5. After a reservation can I select a seat?

You can select a seat of your own choice during the ticket booking or also later until 24 hours to your departure time. If you fail to select a seat, the airline will automatically assign you one.
