Carry-on Baggage

Only one piece of cabin baggage, measuring no more than 115 cm (55 x 40 x 20 cm) and weighing no more than 8 kg, may be brought on board per passenger without incurring additional fees. Additionally, each passenger can get one of the following things on board without incurring additional fees: a briefcase, laptop bag, or handbag.

Each passenger may check in one bag up to a maximum weight of 20 kilograms with overall dimensions meeting the check-in standards, subject to the applicable fare rules and the exclusion of infants 0 to 2 years old without authorized baggage.

Checked Baggage 

International laws limit the weight of checked baggage to 32 kilos. Except for wheelchairs and bulky goods that the airline has previously permitted to be stowed in the cargo hold, such as musical instruments and photographic gear, heavier pieces of luggage cannot be accepted. These large, hefty objects will be treated as special service requests (SSRs) and stored in the hold. For the transport of these products, a separate fare may be required.

Sports Equipment 

AlbaStar allows passengers to carry their sports equipment on their next adventure. However, passengers are required to tell the airline about it beforehand. Furthermore, passengers can take small instruments in the cabin, provided they don’t have any hand luggage. Please refer to the table below for information on the same

Prohibited Items 

Listed below are the items that are not allowed on-board:

1. various items: self-defense spray, irritants, cases with anti-theft system installed, magnetic equipment
2. electronic cigarettes: electronic cigarettes are prohibited inside hold baggage.
3. Explosives: pyrotechnics, ammunition, firecrackers, toy weapons, and rockets.
4. Gases: gas and gas cylinders (butane, propane, acetylene, oxygen, nitrogen), insecticides, compressed air bottles, lighter refills, fire extinguishers, etc.
5. Flammable liquids: paints, turpentine, solvents or thinners, petrol, diesel, petroleum, glues, alcohol, ethanol, etc.
6. Volatile solids: matches (except safety ones), sulphur, magnesium.
7. Substances are susceptible to spontaneous combustion
8. substances that, in contact with water, emit flammable gases
9. oxidizing substances, oxidants, organic peroxides
10. toxic or poisonous substances: poisons, herbicides, pesticides, and arsenic.
11. Infectious substances: bacteria, viruses, etc.
12. Radioactive material: isotopes, etc.
13. Corrosives: acids, mercury, spillable batteries, chlorine, bleach.
