Check-in Policy

Online Check-in:

You can check-in online for your airBaltic flight between 5 days and 1 hour before departure. In addition, online check-in is available for flights departing from most airports in the airBaltic network. You can check-in by visiting the airBaltic website, entering your booking reference and surname, and following the instructions.

Mobile Check-in:

airBaltic also offers mobile check-in through its mobile app, available for iOS and Android devices. You can check-in using the app between 5 days and 1 hour before departure. After checking in, you can download your boarding pass to your mobile device or receive it via email.

Airport Check-in:

Suppose you prefer to check-in at the Airport. In that case, airBaltic recommends arriving at the Airport at least 2 hours before departure for flights within the European Union and 3 hours before departure for flights outside the European Union. You can check-in at the airBaltic check-in desk, self-check-in kiosks (available at some airports), or via the airBaltic mobile app.

It's important to note that for flights to some destinations, such as the United States, you may be required to provide additional information during check-in, such as your passport or visa information. The following travel paperwork must be organized before arriving at the airBaltic Airport:

1. A valid passport or government-issued identification
2. E-ticket number
3. The name and details of your airBaltic flight

Online Web Check-in to Get Boarding Pass

1. Visit the airBaltic website at www.airbaltic.com and click the "Check-in" tab.
2. Enter your booking reference number and surname in the appropriate fields and click "Continue."
3. Select the flight you want to check in for and choose your seat. You can also purchase additional services, such as checked baggage or priority boarding if they are available for your flight.
4. Review the information you entered and confirm that it is correct. If everything is correct, click "Check-in."
5. After completing check-in, you can download and print your boarding pass. You will also receive a copy of your boarding pass via email.
6. Bring your printed boarding pass or the digital version on your mobile device to the Airport for boarding.

Offline check-in to Get a Boarding Pass

1. Arrive at the Airport at least 2 hours before your flight's scheduled departure time (or 3 hours for flights outside the European Union).
2. Head to the airBaltic check-in desk, usually located near the terminal's entrance.
3. Provide the check-in agent with your passport or other government-issued identification and your booking reference number.
4. If you have any checked baggage, the agent will weigh it and tag it with your destination information. You may be required to pay an additional fee if your baggage exceeds the weight or size limit.
5. The check-in agent will issue your boarding pass and other necessary documents, such as a baggage tag or visa.
6. Proceed to the security checkpoint and then to your departure gate, which will be listed on your boarding pass.

kiosk check-in to get a Boarding Pass

1. Locate an airBaltic self-service kiosk at the Airport. These are usually located near the check-in area or in the departure hall.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to begin the check-in process. You must enter your booking reference number and other required information, such as your name and flight details.
3. Choose your preferred seat from the available options and select any additional services, such as checked baggage or priority boarding, if available for your flight.
4. Please review the information you entered and confirm that it is correct. If everything is correct, click "Check-in."
5. The kiosk will print your boarding pass and other necessary documents, such as a baggage tag.
6. If you have any checked baggage, you must drop it off at the designated baggage drop-off point, usually near the check-in area.
7. Proceed to the security checkpoint and then to your departure gate, which will be listed on your boarding pass.
