If the flight gets cancelled or causes you to miss a connecting flight, then the passengers have the opportunity to rebook the flight, extend the validity of the ticket, re-route you to the destination intended, or make a refund in accordance with the conditions of carriage. Passengers can cancel the ticket if they wish too, however, refund will be made in accordance with the fare rules. If no portion of the ticket is used by the passenger then an amount equal to the fare paid is refunded, however service charge and cancellation fees are deducted.
The airline will refund the ticket or any unused portion of the ticket in accordance with the fare rules. Moreover, the airline will process the refund of a ticket in accordance with the conditions attached to the ticket purchased by the passenger.
