Carry-on baggage 

Transavia France permits passengers to carry one piece of carry-on baggage along with one piece of personal item for. Moreover, the baggage can be of maximum 10kg weight with 55 x 35 x 25cm dimensions. Furthermore, the personal item can be of maximum 40 x 30 x 20cm dimensions. The personal item can be, for instance, a purse or laptop bag, etc. Lastly, if the carry-on luggage exceeds the allowance then the passengers can expect to pay €40 at the airport.

 

Checked baggage 

Passengers can easily book their checked luggage online by going to My Transavia. Transavia France permits passengers to carry 50kg at most. Furthermore, each baggage can weigh a maximum of 32kg. You can also refer below to see the rates for checked baggage:

Prohibited Items 

Following items are not allowed on board-

• Weapons and firearms
• Weapons and pointed or sharp objects, such as a nail file, nail scissors, or razor blade
• Blunt objects, such as a baseball bat or golf clubs
• Explosive and flammable substances, such as a lighter
• Chemical and toxic substances

Moreover, following items cannot be used on board:

• devices that use a mobile network (without airplane mode);
• personal air purifiers;      
• toys with a remote control;
• televisions and transmitters; VHF scanners or receivers

Other items that can be used to attack or pose threat during the flight are not permitted.
