Smartwings Cancellation and Refund Policy
The airline does not permit passengers to cancel a booking, all tickets are non-refundable. Moreover, the airline will only provide a refund if it does not fulfil its transport obligations.
Upon cancellation/delay of the flight by Smartwings the airline will of course inform the passengers. It will also provide services like free meals, refreshments, accommodation, phone calls, etc. Moreover, the passenger has the right to choose between rerouting to the intended destination or refund of the ticket. If the passenger has been informed of the cancellation 2 weeks prior to the departure – no refund is provided.
Smartwings does not permit passengers to get a refund, all tickets are non-refundable. Moreover, the airline will only provide a refund if it does not fulfil its transport obligations. The airline will also only refund the unused portions of the ticket. In the event that the passenger’s immediate family member dies, the airline will refund the ticket upon request and satisfactory proof. Furthermore, the airline will refund the ticket to the person who is named on the ticket or whoever paid for the ticket, provided that satisfactory proof of payment is given. In addition to this, the passenger needs to submit valid photo identification of the passenger names on the ticket to get a refund. Lastly, the refund will be made in the same currency the payment was made in.
NOTE- FLEX fare passengers can get a refund, they will be required to pay a fee of 72.66 USD.
