Online Check-In

Passengers can do online check-in 48 hour before the scheduled departure of the flight, this can be done easily and securely via the online check-in page. Additionally, the latest passengers can check-in online is 45 minutes for domestic passengers, meanwhile an hour and a half prior to departure for international flights. Following are the exceptions –

• Flights departing from Amsterdam and Paris – 30 hours prior to departure of flight
• Flights departing from Geneva and Zurich – 24 hours prior to departure of flight
• Direct flights to the USA – 24 hours prior to departure of flight

Passengers can also use the Alitalia APP to check in, they can do the three step check-in:

1. Enter details of flight 
2. Select add on services. For instance, choose an on-board seat, purchase extra baggage, etc. 
3. Select how to get boarding pass

Airport Check-In

For international flights, passengers should check-in no later than one hour before scheduled departure. Also to ensure enough time for dropping any bags, security check and check-in, all passengers should arrive at the airport 2-3 hours prior to their flight. Additionally, domestic flights passengers should check in no later than 35 minutes before scheduled departure of the flight.

Furthermore, fast check-in is possible through the automated Kiosks in the airports. This fast check in all was passengers to-

• Check-in up to 7 passengers (same reservation) at the same time 
• Select your seat
• Change the seat if your fare allows it
• Print boarding pass

TELE Check-In

This service is exclusively available for Club Members to save their time by avoiding long lines. Moreover, the service is available at departure of all Italian airports, Athens, Barcelona, Frankfort, London and Madrid. Lastly, Passengers can pick up their boarding pass within 30 to 60 minutes of their scheduled flight.
