All of the major Mormon-related religious and historical sites are located here, along with major shopping and entertainment districts around Main Street. Hotel selection isn't particularly exciting, but there are many and some are good value for money. B&Bs in the Avenue area is perfect for couples. There are cure Restaurant/Craft Brewer which is perfect for a romantic evening. If you’re the kind of person who would enjoy peaceful hiking trails, then you should stay at City Creek Canyon. It is an upscale, quiet neighborhood, but just a few minute's bus ride from downtown. Thanks to a series of revitalization projects, downtown Main Street is once again at the heart of the city's premier entertainment district, so if you’re looking to party this is the play for you. You can also stay to the south, in the old warehouse district of The Granary. It has developed into an up-and-coming neighborhood of microbreweries and bars. Sugar House is one of the city's oldest and trendiest neighborhoods, with a recent proliferation of independent shops, restaurants, and boutiques.
