Air New Zealand Baggage Allowance
Personal item and Carry-on
Air New Zealand allows one carry-on with one small personal item if you're traveling in the economy class fare. But, if you have reservations in another class than the economy, then they give a carry-on allowance of 2 bags plus one personal item.
Economy: one piece, max. 7 kg/ 15 lbs, plus one personal item. Business Class and Premium Economy: two pieces, max. 14 kg/ 30 lbs in total (no one item may exceed 10 kg/ 22 lbs), plus a personal item. Max. total dimensions: 118 cm/ 46.5 in.
Air New Zealand Checked baggage
For domestic flights, the airline gives one checked baggage allowance to seat+bag, smart saver, and flexitime fare type. But, for international flight booking with seat+bag, Economy, theworks includes one checked bags and premium economy and works deluxe has two pieces of allowance policy. While, in Business Premier and business fares, you will get three checked baggage allowance and you cannot add further.
Excess or Additional baggage
If you're traveling with the excess bag, no worries you can check out the Air New Zealand unaccompanied baggage policy for allowance and excess bag fees. However, for this airline, above 70lbs(32kg) it will be count as overweight and above 62 inches(158cm) will be counted as oversized baggage.
