Carry-on Baggage
Air Caraïbes permits passengers to carry one piece of baggage per person, the maximum dimension should be 55 x 40 x 30cm. The weight alliance of the baggage depends on the travel route. So passengers travelling domestically (Fort-de-France, St.Martin, St. Barthelemy, Pointe-a-Pitre, St. Lucia, Port-au-Prince or Santo Domingo) can carry baggage of maximum 5kg weight. Passengers travelling on transatlantic routes can carry baggage of maximum 12kg weight. In addition, Air Caraïbes allows passengers to carry a personal item like a laptop bag or small handbag, etc.

Excess Baggage
If the baggage allowance on the whole is exceeded then the passenger can expect to pay 100 EUR penalty per bag, this is if the baggage is checked-in 48 hours prior to the fright departure. If the baggage allowance is exceeded on the transatlantic network, then the passengers can expect to pay a 50 EUR penalty per bag. Moreover, for the same network if the baggage exceeds 158cm then passengers can expect to pay a 50 EUR penalty. The same rule of oversized baggage booking of 48 hours before the flight is applicable.

Traveling with animals
Air Caraïbes as the right to refuse the carriage of emotional support animals. In case a passenger wishes to carry their pet animal with them, they must first inform Air Caraïbes. Moreover, passengers are required to submit a health certificate of the animal 5 days prior to the flight. In case the trip is longer than 5 days, then another health certificate if required.
